Key updates have been made throughout the sixth edition, including:

Updated definitions of kilogram, mole, ampere, and kelvin from the 26th General Conference on Weights and Measures in France are provided.

The graphical representation of the one-dimensional transient heat conduction solutions (Heisler charts) have been eliminated, and the er emphasis has been placed on the solutions with more accurate approximate or ex r exact analytical expressions.

A number of useful pictures have been added to the fluid mechanics chapters.

The explicit Churchill equation has been added as an alternative to the implicit Colebrook equation.

A large number of the end-of-chapter pr problems in the text have been modified, and many problems were replaced. Also, several of the solved example problems have been replaced.
