Richard Hill Davis is a transplant American who has lived for over 20 years in Taiwan. He is an associate professor at Feng Chia University in Taichung, Taiwan. He teaches out of the Foreign Language Center at the university and is the extensive reading coordinator. He is a specialist in English for Specific Purposes and English Language teaching. He earned his PhD. from Glasgow University. He gives many speeches and workshops yearly on pedagogical advances and classroom management. He loves his cat very much. Michael McCollister
Prior to his recent retirement, Michael McCollister had been a full-time faculty member at Feng Chia University for more than twenty-five years. He previously served as head of the Foreign Language Division of the Foreign Language Center for three years and another four as director of the center. He is the author of two textbooks and has edited A Community of Readers: Interviews with Extensive Reading Scholars and Practitioners (Kaun Tang International, 2013). He is a strong supporter of extensive reading.
